im·ag·ery ('i-mij-rE) noun: mental images; especially : the products of imagination. I now have a well equipped studio here in Ann Arbor so I can do senior portraits as well as family portraits and modeling shots. My studio is comprised of four studio strobes along with light boxes and light modifiers so that I have the flexibility for a variety of uses. On location shooting is also available, either making use of natural lighting or mobile studio strobes. I have aspirations of ultimately publishing a photo book of San Antonio, ranging from the old Spanish missions to modern day San Antonio. My favorite still life subjects are architecture and automobiles. Buildings make great subjects because they are numerous, interesting in their details, and never blink! I make interesting use of light, whether it be natural or artificial. My other passion is automobiles but I make more artistic photos. Even though I do take some, photos of entire cars look boring to me when compared to a combination of interesting angles. I will take photographs of anything if it appears interesting or artistic to me. I have created this business to share what I consider beautiful and interesting. Part of my goal is to provide inexpensive photographic art to all those that enjoy my work and to help me to continue to create that art. I do hope to share my art here and though local showing of my work. Thank you for taking the time to visit Portell Imagery and I would love hearing from you! This gallery has no photos to display yet.Let's hope it gets good ones soon! |
